YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As the Sales Manager for ZEGNA, you will aid in transforming a customer’s store visit into a memorable luxury shopping experience. The Sales Manager will be part of a dynamic, constantly changing environment, providing you with opportunities to seek and delight customers through leading a team of highly motivated and talented retail professionals.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Store Director, you will be responsible for optimizing the sales development of the store in terms of image, turnover, and profitability by properly managing the staff and developing effective operations in the store.

This role is based in our NYC Flagship.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

Sales Management
  • Collaborate with the store team to implement action plans that drive daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales and KPI targets set by the ASD.
  • Serve as acting ASD in their absence, assuming full responsibilities and decision-making authority.
  • Support and respond proactively to additional requests from the ASD or Corporate Office to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently, maintaining operational standards.
  • Uphold the highest level of security awareness to safeguard the store, its assets, and team members.

Customer Relationships and Customer Service
  • Deliver an exceptional luxury in-store customer experience by embodying the Zegna Guest Experience and upholding the Zegna Mindset.
  • Accurately gather and maintain customer data in compliance with Zegna CRM procedures and guidelines.
  • Take full ownership of resolving customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring adherence to Zegna’s customer service policies including alterations, repairs, damages, and global returns.
People
  • Ensure all staff consistently uphold the Company’s standards regarding appearance, service quality, and professional conduct.
  • Identify training and development needs within the store team and provide targeted coaching and training as directed by the ASD.
  • Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration and morale, while actively monitoring the UPs System to support sales performance.
  • Support the ASD in a full range of personnel functions, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, retention, motivation, supervision, employee relations, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Assist the ASD in monitoring Style Advisors’ performance and in setting and achieving individual and team goals.
  
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  • 5–6 years of experience in the retail and hospitality industries
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to delight clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with digital technology
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn and develop independently
COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position ranges from $130,000-$135,000 annually plus additional bonus incentives, dependent on candidates' relevant skills and experience.
