BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As Zegna has successfully become a casual luxury Brand, our global retail biggest opportunity is elevate the styling and selling skills of our team and the experience we deliver to our clients, while keep investing on outstanding product knowledge.
The role will be responsible for:
  • developing and innovate the training offer of all topics connected to the upgraded Customer Experience (product knowledge, selling skills, service tools, MTM ) across multiple formats ensuring a consistent approach across all phases (concept, co-design with markets, development and cascading to final users).
  • developing contents for a new onboarding
  • contribute in cross-departmental project impacting retail
  • contributing to the development of the retail managerial training offer
Proven instructional design competences, usage of authoring tools and facilitation skills are required.
Knowledge of international luxury retail environment, project management skills and ability to work in partnership with different stakeholders will be essential for the success of the role.
Reporting to the Global Retail Capabilities Development Director, the position will be based in Milan
Success of this role will be measured as well in UPT, NPS and Sales increase.

In this role, you will:
  • Support the retail teams to develop their selling skills and ensure consistency across markets, co-designing training for all touchpoints of the customer experience, integrating market needs and feedback
  • Proactively identify the sales training needs analysing the outcome and monitoring the impact of every sale-related training program, with a data-driven approach
  • Responsible for design and development of training modules/programs (presentation, trainers’ guidelines, activation kits, retention quiz, and follow-up activities)  to be delivered with a blended approach (digital-self learning, in class session, in store session, train the trainer)
  • Contribute to drive a community of global in-store training specialist, to ensure an effective cascading and follow up of training initiatives
  • Work with strong project management mindset and approach to meet the deadlines/costs and the different validation phases across the project’s creation involving the right stakeholders and Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Scout and deal with suppliers for specific projects which cannot be developed internally, taking into account the budget allocated and the training delivery mode (in class, in store, digital).
  • Actively contribute to the training events organizations and animation (train the trainer session and corporate/ local training sessions)

  • Ability to work in partnership
  • Agility & Flexibility in priorities management
  • Knowledge of English mandatory. Any additional language is a plus
