As a Zegna Cashier, you will be responsible for handling accurately and in a timely manner the in-store sales transactions, as well as all types of payment methods, in accordance with the existing policies and procedures. Alongside this, you will provide the most memorable and luxurious sales experience to our clientele within their customer journey. You will ensure that you bring the human touch to the luxury administrative experience for you, your colleagues and our clients. You are our administrative ambassador, undergoing excellence whilst handling both our rich heritage and collections that collectively contributes to the atmosphere, energy and passion of the Zegna brand to our final consumer. From the moment the customer enters the store, your administrative contribution before and after assists and ensures the smooth running of the selling ceremony provided by your colleagues and you. As a result this will ensure that the service provided is as; personal, seamless and effortless as it is exceptional.

Step into a hands-on, minds-on work environment where every challenge and opportunity helps you realise your full potential. Before and after the customer experience, there is a vast amount of administrative tasks needing to be carefully executed, ensuring completion to the highest level.

As a Cashier you will:

Review and learn the companies operational manual containing all operational policies and processes.
Process transactions, credit and debit card payments.
Provide memorable luxury experience in line with the Selling Flow guidelines.
Accurately handle the processing of all goods, for e.g but not limited to; Ready To Wear, Made To Measure, Open Accounts, Closed Accounts, CITIES etc.
Issue correct invoices to clients, with all correct procedures being followed in relation to deliveries, tax exemption, duty to be paid. All of which needs to be done in line with the company guidelines.
Issue sales receipts and manage any possible tax refund requests.
Accurately know the company policy in relation to; Returns, Exchanges, Refunds, Forms of discount, deliveries (locally and internationally), Alteration Charges, Damaged items etc.
Ensure accurate management of daily cash accounts
Maintain accurate records of daily sales transactions and the different forms of tenders accepted, insuring an accurate daily closing with no discrepancies.
Any discrepancies to be notified to the manager and retail oprations on duty.
Guide and solve any customer queries related to transactions.
Provide accurate daily reports.
Maintain you work space in a safe, clean and organized manner in accordance with the company procedures and regulations.
Act in accordance with the Zegna Code of Ethics.

Within this role you are responsible for ensuring the Cash Desk Store environment is always in immaculate condition. You will need to be Fluent in English in both written and verbal forms (to an advance level), any additional language will be considered a plus. You will be proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office, in particular excel. You will encompass good administrative and organizational skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. You will have Experience with the operations of POS system's within the retail & customer services sector.
