YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The ideal Temporary Marketing Director has strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills and is comfortable working cross-functionally. This position requires the candidate to be highly organized, detail-oriented and manage multiple projects at once. this temporary role is based in the ny zegna corporate office 4 days a week; 1 day WFH.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the strategy and execution of client-facing and brand-building events across markets
Develop integrated marketing and experiential frameworks aligned to commercial and brand objectives
Serve as relationship lead for ~10 retail and wholesale partners, overseeing Lease Required Advertising (LRA) and Coop Advertising campaigns
Act as senior decision-maker in partnership with the Head of Marketing & HQ for creative direction, production, agencies, and luxury vendor partnerships
Build and optimize regional relationship networks, including hospitality partners, VIPs, stylists, and wedding planners
Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing, Retail teams, and HQ marketing resources
Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Creative, Press, Merchandising, Made to Measure, and Clienteling teams
Support HQ-led global initiatives, including fashion shows, client travel, and key brand moments
Oversee budgets, forecasting, and performance measurement, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency
Provide executive-level on-site leadership and oversight of contractors and partners
Ensure compliance with ZEGNA’s Internal Control Framework (ICFR)

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate brings senior experience across luxury marketing and events, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional relationship management skills.
5+ years of proven experience in retail luxury marketing and brand management, and event execution.

COMPENSATION:

The hourly pay range for this position, dependent on candidates' relevant skills and experience, will be $100-$125/hour.
